Cranberry Buttermilk Scones Steps Cranberry Scones Step 1: Preheat the oven to 425° F. Cranberry Buttermilk Scones Steps Combine the dry ingredients. Using a stand mixer with paddle attachment slowly add the butter cubes slowly until the mixtures looks crumbly.

On a flour dusted surface roll the dough into ½” thick circles. Cut the dough into 6 pie pieces. Place onto a parchment lined sheet pan 1” apart. In a small bowl, mix together the cream and sugar. Brush the top of each scone to glaze and then sprinkle the almonds on top. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
