Apricot Almond Granola Bars

Almonds are high in protein and low in carbohydrates and contain antioxidants that are great for your heart.
Flax seeds have been known to lower cholesterol and are loaded with fiber.
Apricots provide a ton of Vitamin A and aids in prevention of cancer and heart disease.

Apricot Almond Granola Bars Instructions
Apricot Granola Bars Step 1: Preheat the oven to 325° F.
Apricot Granola Bars Step 2: In a large mixing bowl toss the oats, almonds, puffed wheat, flax seed and apricots.
Apricot Granola Bars Step 3: In another medium bowl whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, agave syrup, honey and vanilla until fully incorporated.
Apricot Granola Bars Step 4: Mix the almond butter mixture with the oats until it is evenly mixed together.
Apricot Granola Bars Step 5: Press into a 9” X 13” baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Chill for at least one hour. Cut into bars and serve.
For individual servings use a 1-2 oz. scoop and press into mini muffin tins. Bake for 10 minutes.
